FROM THE PRESIDENT
Leveraging 40+ years of Financial Industry experience, as Vice President of a major commercial bank, Mortgage Loan Originator/Branch Manager and now Broker/Owner of Carefree Retirement Funding, I have dedicated myself to helping seniors secure their retirement future and realize their retirement dreams.
My passionate belief in the federally insured Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) has come from first-hand experience. Through this “life changing” program I helped my mother with the thing she wanted most in her later years – that was to remain independent and live in the one and only family home she had ever known. Because the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage provided cash for everyday expenses as well as unexpected emergencies, my mother and the entire family were relieved of the stress and worry about her financial future as she lived carefree in her later years.
In addition to helping my mother, when it came time to down-size, my wife and I didn’t have to settle for just any smaller home, we used the HECM for Purchase Program and were able to get the home we really wanted without having to make mortgage payments. Now we are living the dream as we look out over the pool and the 6th Fairway.
